Project Overview

This project was commissioned by a prominent industrial client who needed a durable and visually appealing finish for their switchboard. The switchboard was a critical component of the facility, demanding not only functional durability but also an aesthetic appeal that aligns with the client’s brand image. Given the operational environment, the coatings needed to withstand harsh conditions while maintaining their integrity and appearance over time.

Our team embarked on this project with a clear understanding of the client’s requirements and the technical challenges involved. Preparation & Execution

  1. Pre-Treatment: We began with thorough chemical washing and sandblasting to prepare the metal surface. This step was crucial for removing any impurities and ensuring optimal adhesion of the coatings.
  2. Priming: A zinc prime base layer was applied to enhance the durability and longevity of the coating. This step also ensured better adhesion of the subsequent powder coats.
  3. Powder Coating: The main challenge was the precise application of two distinct powder coatings. Our team used advanced techniques to apply the coatings with sharp, clean lines, avoiding any spillage or overlap.
